Both Friday and Saturday featured engaging breakout sessions, with attendees gathering to hear from renowned keynote speakers including Melina Petsolari, Ambassador Ekaterini Nassika, George Anderson, Nikolaos Bakatselos, Clay Bradley, Seth Feman, Dr. Stamatios Krimigis, and Alan LeQuire. Friday evening’s Glendi Party was a spirited kickoff to the weekend’s celebrations. A Glendi, meaning “festive gathering,” brought together members, honorees, and special guests for an evening of lively entertainment and camaraderie. The Charlie Grey Events team, in collaboration with JW Marriott, Encore, SIR Nashville, and Nashville Magazine Photo Booth, transformed the venue into a vibrant space, illuminated by exquisite lighting and seamless audio-visual elements.
Attendees danced the night away, dancing to Giorgos Tsalikis, fueled by drinks and dinner prepared by the JW team. The night set the tone for a weekend filled with connection and celebration.
Saturday: Honoring Excellence at the Parthenon
Saturday culminated in the weekend’s centerpiece event: an elegant gala at Nashville’s iconic Parthenon, a full-scale replica of the ancient Greek structure. The venue symbolized NHS’s mission to preserve and celebrate Hellenic heritage, providing a stunning setting for the evening’s festivities.

The night featured awe-inspiring performances by Desmond Child, the acclaimed songwriter, and rising star Karina Eleni Constantinides, whose voices brought the celebration to life. Honorees including Desmond Child, actress Melina Kanakaredes, and food industry pioneer Peter Parthenis were recognized for their contributions to their fields and to Greek-American culture. The evening’s festivities were hosted by the charismatic Debbie Matenopoulos, who guided the program with grace and enthusiasm.
